Who We Are

Starting with The Expat magazine in 1996, TEG Media (The Expat Group) has expanded over the years into a leading media company providing information about Malaysia to English-speaking audiences.

We connect with our audiences through more than 20 media channels, including publicationsdigital mediaevents, and visa services. We aim to promote a positive image of Malaysia, and we create custom marketing solutions for businesses and organizations wishing to reach our audience segments

TEG Media is the brand name for four companies.

Borneo Vision Sdn Bhd

which is the print publishing arm of the group which includes The Expat magazine, our TEG membership card and MM2H newsletter subscription service. It also includes our in-house Wine Dinners and Mingles events.

TEG Digital Sdn Bhd

which covers all our websites and digital marketing.

Tri Concepts Sdn Bhd

which runs all our larger events such as WhiskyPlus as well as events catered for clients.

Borneo Vision (MM2H) Sdn Bhd

which is an authorized agent for the Malaysia My Second Home programme, and assists with the related visa services and a Help Desk.

Andy Davison

CEO and Founder
Andy Davison is the founder and CEO of TEG. He started the company in 1996 with The Expat magazine. He has expanded TEG into the leading multi-channel media company for reaching English-speaking audiences interested in Malaysia.

STAFF WANTED

As a result of our continuing expansion, we are looking for additional people to join our team. We are a well-established small company that focuses primarily on providing information and support to expats and tourists. We publish a number of magazines and websites, and also organise events and assist people in obtaining Malaysia My Second Home visas.

Sales

Senior Sales Manager

The suitable candidate will have a minimum of five years’ experience successfully selling advertising space in magazines or websites. An attractive compensation package will be offered to the right person.

 

Digital Sales Manager

Our media website, EatDrink.my is experiencing a rapid growth in visitors. We are now selling special membership packages for Food & Beverage outlets. We are looking for a young sales person, preferably with experience selling digital products, to focus on selling these packages and other digital advertising.
Applicants for these two sales positions should possess their own transportation and will receive a fixed transportation allowance.

ACCOUNTING/ADMIN

Part Time Admin / Accounts Support

Our accountant is feeling the pressure of our expansion, and we are looking for someone to help. Duties would include improving the filing system, calling overdue accounts and other admin / accounting related duties. We are looking for someone willing to work a minimum of 20 hours a week. Hourly rate will commensurate with experience. Some computer knowledge and conversant in basic English are the prerequisite for this position.
